Welcome
to the possibility that work can feel good again
I became a coach in 2021 after suffering from severe burnout. I had previously been a practicing attorney specializing in complex commercial litigation for six years, when I finally took a step back from my career and admitted I was not happy.
I became passionate about helping professionals avoid the pitfalls I faced in my career—and the rest is history. Rebuild with Rhia was born, and I’ve since supported dozens of professionals in building careers that allow them to thrive.
I can help you:
build confidence, navigate perfectionism and imposter syndrome, learn to have difficult conversations and set boundaries;
set up routines and systems that allow you to juggle all you have on your plate without sacrificing real, intentional self-care;
navigate career changes or identify which jobs will be a good fit for you;
make more money and get more opportunities;
prevent, fight, and heal from burnout, and more.

What is coaching?
In short, I provide you with support and guidance that will enable you to reach your goals for growth and fulfillment in your career.
My role as a coach is to help you flesh out your vision of your ideal career, identify how to get you there, guide you through that process, and provide support and accountability so you actually see changes.
My programs are aimed at: (1) identifying your values and goals; (2) understanding any limitations holding you back from your goals; (3) creating a strategy for achieving your desired growth; (4) integrating supportive tools, habits, and routines into your life; (5) practicing consistency, so that you can continue on with the work after our time together.
We will have 1:1 conversations in which we talk through what you are going through, get to the root of those issues, and create a strategy for moving forward. We will also create an approach for work outside of those sessions so that you can maximize growth during our time together. Throughout the whole process, my focus is on what feels good and effective for you—no cookie-cutter approaches here.
I am here to help you build a career that feels great, and is in alignment with your needs & values.

FAQs
Why should I hire a coach?
Coaching can provide an amazing foundation for starting to live your life in ways that make you feel better, long term. Do I believe you can do self-transformation work on your own? Yes, I do—but it may take longer and it may feel like spinning your wheels. You may spend valuable time trying approaches touted by other successful people, get frustrated that they aren’t giving you immediate results, and become demotivated. Further, I am skilled at asking questions that get down to the root of your blocks—and that can be a lot harder to do on your own!
I’ve done dozens and dozens of hours of research into evidence-based tools for growth, stress management, negotiating, setting boundaries, confidence-building,
To see big change in any area of your life, you have to commit to showing up consistently. Working together, we will identify an approach that work for you specifically, and you will have the structure, support, and accountability to keep you committed to the work for the duration of our relationship. You can then take the understanding and practices you have from our work together to continue to show up for yourself effectively when our work together is complete.
Is coaching worth the investment?
Listen, I get it. It can be hard to invest in our mental wellbeing - but what is the cost of NOT doing so? In my experience, having support and a structured approach to growth is so worth it; we tend to give up or avoid self-reflection work when left to our own devices.
Coaching can make you happier, more confident, more fulfilled, and more of a badass in your career. That can mean better opportunities, promotions, and more money—you are investing in your future! The growth you can find from this work will bleed into every area in your life, in the most beautiful of ways.
Think about all the money you’ve spent on clothes, makeup, skincare, and whatever your favorite coping mechanisms are (food is a big one for me lol). Or on the gym and health products. We are so quick to invest in our bodies—but why not our minds, our growth, our self-actualization? You will not regret investing in yourself.
What is mindset work and how will it help me?
We alllll have limiting beliefs. We are all being told what we should do, how we should look, how we should act, and how we should feel our whole lives—by society in general, parents, teachers, peers, friends, partners, and more. Often we don't really examine these thoughts, we just carry on living our lives. But they affect us. Sometimes we integrate them into how we see ourselves—they affect what we believe we can achieve, how we show up in our relationships and jobs, and how we feel.
Women and non-binary individuals especially are held to insane patriarchal standards that we internalize and can make us miserable—be successful but don’t be too bossy, don’t be too knowledgable or outspoken, etc.
By becoming aware of the subconscious thoughts we are carrying around, we can choose whether we want to keep living by them, or if we want to release them so we can rebuild our thought processes to better suit who we actually are. And, let me tell you, getting to that point is freeing as hell.
What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?
Coaching is similar to therapy in that we talk about your life, your thought processes, and your habits, with the goal of understanding them better, interrupting the less than helpful thoughts, and creating a plan for growth. Coaching is very forward-focused: we are setting goals and making a plan for reaching them.
Coaching is distinct from therapy in that I am NOT a psychologist, I am not the person to help you deal with deep trauma, and I cannot diagnose issues beyond helping you identify your own thought patterns. Therapy focuses on examining your childhood, traumas, deep healing, and more.
In coaching, will focus more on some practical ways to feel better on a day-to-day basis in all areas of your life. We are more focused on the now & how to get to your ideal future.
It’s really important to me not to cross the boundary of supporting you in trauma work—I am just not qualified for that. If you have some deep trauma to sort through, I highly recommend investing in a qualified professional. I would love to work with you alongside a therapist, though!
